BLM Ranger speaks...
Published on December 16, 2003 By crowbraid In Blogging
The local BLM ranger drove up this morning and asked me how long I've been here. I shrugged and said I didn't really know, but it's been a couple of weeks. He grinned and shook his head, then told me that he was sorry, but I"d have to break camp and move at least 50 miles away from here; 14 days is the limit. Well, rules is rules, I guess. Besides, I'd about explored this country out anyway. The problem is, I don't know if I'll be able to find a place as isolated as this is that also has digital access to a Verizon tower.

I guess that if it doesn't, it doesn't, eh? Blogging, as an art form, is probably rather overrated. I've had a couple replies to my missives, and undoubtably a few more viewers, but I doubt if anyone's life is changed by my words. Having said that, I think I need to get about the business of breaking camp. Fortunately, it doesn't take long, and it's still early enough in the day that I can go 50 or so miles and scout for a good one. And, if I don't get a chance to add to this here blog for a bit, shrug.

See ya
